ArcGIS Publisher Extension
ArcGIS Publisher is an ArcGIS extension that converts map documents (MXD) to
Published Map Files (PMF). PMFs contain instructions about the location and
symbology of data layers including geodatabase connectivity and Internet
connections. ArcGIS Publisher also provides the capability to package spatial
data with the PMF for easy distribution. PMFs are viewable through ArcReader, a
free downloadable product from ESRI that, along with ArcGIS Publisher, allows
map creators to easily publish and share their work locally and via the
Internet. Users can also use ArcReader to specify a title for their maps. |
